The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) has confirmed the Sassa Grant payment dates for March 2023. This SASSA Grant Payments Dates For March 2023 will help you know when your SASSA Grant will be paid.
March SASSA payments will begin on 2 March 2023, starting with the grant for older persons. The Disability Grant (as well as any grants associated with these accounts) will be paid on 3 March 2023. The rest of the grants will be paid on 6 March 2023.
South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) is on track to disburse March 2023 Sassa social grants from 2 March 2023.
These permanent grants are distributed every second day of the month by Sassa. A grant will not be awarded on a weekend or public holiday, however, if the second day of the month falls on a weekend or public holiday.

SASSA beneficiaries in South Africa will now receive the following grant amounts:

The Disability Grant increased from R1 890 to R1 990, and the War Veterans Grant increased from R2 000 to R2 010. The Old Age Grant was increased to R1980 in April 2022, and to R1990 in October 2022.
The grant for people over 75 years of age increased from R2 000 in April 2022 to R2 010 in October 2022. It has already been confirmed by SASSA that these grants will be granted.
All SASSA clients are also urged to make use of the multiple methods of accessing their funds. There are a number of methods to use, including retailers and ATMs.
R350 Sassa Payment Dates For March 2023
The March 2023 grant payments will be distributed by Sassa on Thursday, 2 March 2023. There will be no payments of old age, disability, and child grants during the week of Thursday 2 March 2023 to Monday 6 March 2023. The rest of the month is dedicated to the payment of SRD grants of R350.
Those receiving their Sassa R350 SRD grant payments through a bank account are not subject to a fixed payment date.
The Sassa grant payments can be received directly into the recipient’s bank account or Sassa card through CashSend.
Sassa Grant Payments of R350 can be collected at supermarkets such as Shoprite, Checkers, USave, Boxer, and Pick n Pay.
Sassa Beneficiaries are advised to wait for an SMS to say they can collect their R350 grant and not to go out and pick it up if they haven’t received one.
SASSA confirmed, “There is no need to withdraw cash on the first day.”. Money in the account does not have to be withdrawn on the first day.”.
